Understanding Vosaic User Roles

The following describes the Vosaic User Roles.
Administrators can perform the following actions without restriction:

  • Manage billing.
  • Renew/upgrade Vosaic plan.
  • Add/edit/delete all individual users.
  • Create/delete any Group.
  • Add/delete individual Users to/from a Group.
  • Add new videos.
  • Watch/mark up/delete all videos added by anyone in their organization.
  • Create/edit/delete all new forms.
  • Can change forms on all videos added by anyone in their organization.
  • Share all videos with any User or Group.
  • Can download all videos uploaded to their organization.
  • Can download transcription of any video uploaded to their organization.
  • Can download an XML file of any video uploaded to their organization.
  • Can download CSV or PDF of any video uploaded to their organization.
  • Can upload supporting documents.

Educators can perform the following actions:

  • Add/edit/delete all individual users.
  • Create/delete any Group.
  • Add/delete individual Users to/from a Group.
  • Add new video/mark/delete videos they have uploaded.
  • Share videos they have uploaded with any User or Group.
  • Watch and mark up videos they have access to.
  • Create/edit/delete all new forms.
  • Can change forms on videos they have uploaded.
  • Can download videos they have uploaded.
  • Can download transcription of any video uploaded to their organization.
  • Can download an XML file of any video they have uploaded.
  • Can download CSV or PDF of any video they have access to.
  • Can upload supporting documents.


Learners can perform the following actions:

  • Add new videos.
  • Watch/mark up/delete videos they have uploaded.
  • Share videos they have uploaded with any User or Group.
  • Watch and mark up videos they have access to.
  • Can change forms on videos they have uploaded.
  • Can download videos they have uploaded.
  • Can download transcription of any video uploaded to their organization.
  • Can download an XML file of any video they have uploaded.
  • Can download CSV or PDF of any video they have uploaded.
  • Can upload supporting documents.


    Viewers: can perform the following action:

    • Watch videos shared by other Users.
    • Mark up videos shared by other Users.
    • Can upload supporting documents.
