Video: How to Share Videos


How to Share a Video

To share a video with others, you must be in a Learner, Educator or Administrator role, and be the person who uploaded the video to Vosaic. To share your video, select your video from the Videos tab, and click the lock icon to open the video sharing settings.

User Access & Visibility Settings

Once you've opened the "Share with Users" dialog, you'll select the users you want to be able to access your video. Then, you'll enter your Timeline Visibility Settings. There are three settings for you to toggle:

  • Make My Timeline Visible to Others—Checking this allows others to see how you marked up this video.
  • Make Others' Timelines Visible to Me Only—Checking this allows only you to see how others marked up this video. Leave unchecked to not see others markup.
  • Make Others' Timelines Visible to Everyone—Checking this allows others to see how they all marked up this video. They will be able to see each other's markup. Leave unchecked to let them see only their own markup.

Once you have completed this step, you are ready to share your video. Click "Save" to compete.

Viewing Others' Moments

By selecting the video from the Videos tab, you can view the form being used on the video, as well as the total number of marked up moments. To review these moments, click “Watch and Markup Video”. Here, you’ll be able to see all moments on the timeline.

Adjusting Timeline View

The Timeline Selector allows you to view one or multiple users' moments on the timeline. Click the Timeline Selector icon in the bottom right of the video window. Here, you can check or uncheck users to adjust your timeline view. You can also select "Check All" to view everyone's moments at once. You can also sort the timeline to view by user or by button by using the Timeline Sorting Function.

Note: You can also use the dropdown menu on the Moments tab to select the user to view moments from.
