In this video tutorial we're going to cover how to link a matrix.

Two different timelines that may be open on your screen so you can see I have two timelines here one coated with the initials JT and the other ones coated with the initials RS.

Different timelines same movie so the idea here is that I might want to get a quantitative view of what's been coded by either coder here so I've also opened a matrix and you can see that here the matrix is reflecting what's been coded in the JT a timeline but if you go to the timeline menu up here on the corner of the matrix you can see that it will present you with a list of all open timelines so if for example I one of this matrix to reflect what was done in the RS timeline all I would have to do is go to this menu click there and you can see all the numbers regenerate based on that other timeline as opposed to actually having to go to this timeline and click on the matrix and open up a second matrix.

For that we can just simply change the view here on the timeline menu on the matrix.
