Coda & iCoda Network Requirements

Coda (Mac OSX) and iCoda (iOS) devices only communicate via wifi. Knowing that, the network requirements for the various types of Coda/iCoda processes that might be in play are listed below.
Activation of iOS Devices
Uploading/Downloading of Forms or Timelines via Customer Network
Uploading/Downloading of Forms or Timelines via WLAN without Internet
- No internet required
- WLAN can be created via wireless router or Ad hoc network
- Coda and iCoda devices must be within WLAN range of each other
Coda "Server" Functionality
- Real-time coding via the Command Centre is conducted over standard TCP/IP and only requires a port to be enabled which can be configured in Coda/iCoda
- No mDNS is required
