Server Format

NOTE: Beginning December 31st, 2017, development of Studiocode and iCoda will stop and new licenses will not be available for purchase. Please consider Vosaic as a replacement. Read More.

When utilizing local servers for file storage of Studiocode and/or Coda files, the recommended server format would be HFS+. Linux is also acceptable. Windows servers are not supported. This is due to the fact that many of the Studiocode files are actually packages so how a given volume handles the folder and it's contents can be problematic.

A SMB connection is not supported.

For those that are capturing a live video feed in Studiocode, capturing directly to the Mac is recommended. Capturing to a server volume is not recommended.
