In this tutorial we will cover the populate codes in timeline feature.

If I open up the inspector for the missed shot button you see this option in the behavior tab. First, I will leave this option disabled with the populated codes and timeline feature disabled. If the missed shot button is never clicked the corresponding row will never appear in the timeline in the row will not appear in the timeline until I mark out of an instance with the missed shot button.

To demonstrate if I go into code mode and activate the missed shot button the row does not appear until I deactivate the button. It may be useful though to have the row present in the timeline to remind you that there were no occurrences of the given row so if we cut to a blank timeline and I open up the inspector I will check the populate codes.

In time I'll inbox and close the inspector. When I enter code mode the row will immediately appear in the timeline. I don't have to activate or deactivate the code button to have its corresponding row up here in the timeline.
