In this video tutorial we're going to introduce you to the matrix and just talk about some of the basics like how to open it close it and watch it update.

So to open the matrix just click on the matrix icon on the timeline you can see that it opens the matrix here in a separate window which is just a simple grid of what's been coded and labeled.

So this is the default view of the matrix which means I haven't made any changes to. It will cover how to make changes to the matrix and other tutorials but for now just know that if I close it I can always just reopen it by clicking on this icon on the timeline at any time so there's no need to save this default matrix view in other words also be aware that the matrix updates in real time so that if I'm coding and let's say I click on you can see there's 16 bus instances here if I click on this bus button to code another instance you can see that the matrix updates in real time. Also if you were to close it and reopen it you would see the same changes so that's an introduction to the matrix.
