Studiocode Tutorials | 7.3 Matrix - Row and Column Management
Transcript
In this video tutorial we'll talk about how to manage your columns and rows in the matrix.
So for example you can see this default view of the matrix which I already have open the more in-depth you end up coding typically the more labels. You're going to have so you might imagine that if we had many more columns out to the right here that might be more of the information we are interested in so one simple thing you can do is click on swap axes and that just switches the orientation of the grid.
It doesn't convert codes to labels or vice versa in terms of objects in studio code it just changes the orientation of the table here so I'll put that back just to keep it simple.
Also you should know at any time you can just click and drag a row anywhere you want to reorder that same with same with columns and same with groups. If you want to use some of the built-in sorting options you could click on this sort button up at the top and I could sort labels ascending or descending basically that's alphabetically right or typically the layout that makes the most sense is by groups that helps categorize your labels and similarly with rose you can sort by names alphabetically in other words or also by color.
Thanks for watching.
