In this video tutorial we're going to go over how to add and edit information to the instances in the sorter window.

So you can see I've taken a handful of instances into the sorter and they're from the bus and taxi row. You should already be familiar with the different types of column like row name and group columns and things like that.

This first instance just to point out is the first instance in the bus row right the instance number is one it's in the row name bus what would happen if for example we just changed this to buses and then we synced just that row back to the timeline so I'll do that you can see it actually creates a new row and moved not copied but moved that instance from the bus row into this new buses row.

So that's how it would behave if for some reason you change the row name. Typically that's not what's going to happen but just so you know let's put that back to bus select just that row will it synchronize and now we can return the instance to its original look but that's how changing a row name would affect the sink back to the timeline.
