In this video tutorial we're going to talk about how to save a sorter window.

Once you have your instance is exported or paste it into a sorter like we have here it's important that the first thing you do is to save this order so just make sure the sorters the frontmost window right and you know that because the signal lights. Here the red yellow green tell you it's the frontmost window.

Just go to file save not save as but save all you can see the shortcut is command s since we haven't saved this order yet we're prompted with this dialog window and maybe I'll call this intersection one sorter because this is my information from the intersection one movie package.

Just pay attention to where you're saving it in this case on the desktop and click save now if I close it you should be able to see the sorter icon over here on the desktop. If I double-click it'll just reopen in studio code. It's important to save this order right away because the solar is what we call a reference file.

If you're not familiar with what a reference file means please watch the reference file video tutorial to learn more about that concept.

Thanks for watching.
