Studiocode Preference - Force Audio Delay

If the audio is out of sync when viewing a movie package that was created by using the Studiocode Capture Window, it is likely something that is best remedied at the point of capture. The following instructions explain how to control the audio delay when using the Studiocode Capture Window.

  1. Launch Studiocode
  2. Go to Studiocode > Preferences > Capture

  1. Check the box: Force audio delay by
  2. Insert the desired number of seconds (between -5 and 5) that the audio needs to be delayed by.
    • A positive number means the audio will be delayed by that number of seconds in the movie package. In other words, if when viewing the movie package, the audio is heard before the action, you should choose a positive number to force the audio to be delayed.
    • A negative number means the audio will be played earlier by that number of seconds in the movie package. In other words, if when viewing the movie package, the audio is heard after the action, you should choose a negative number to force the audio to be played earlier.

Note: It is possible to enter decimals for fractions of seconds.
